Jeoyuh Lin is the founder of Lin IP, LLC, a boutique intellectual property law firm that helps startups, technology companies, and growing businesses protect and leverage their innovations through patents, trademarks, and strategic IP counseling. He specializes in intellectual property matters involving medical devices, electrical and mechanical technologies, software, and AI-enabled innovations, with a focus on aligning intellectual property protection with business objectives and long-term growth strategies.

Prior to founding Lin IP, Jeoyuh served as in-house counsel for a global automotive technology manufacturer and worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). His combined experience in government, corporate, engineering, and private practice environments provides a unique perspective on how intellectual property can be used to create competitive advantages, support fundraising efforts, and increase enterprise value.

With over 15 years of intellectual property experience and an engineering background in biomedical engineering, Jeoyuh advises entrepreneurs, startups, nonprofits, and mid-sized companies on patent procurement, trademark protection, office action strategy, portfolio development, and intellectual property risk management. He is passionate about helping innovators transform ideas into valuable business assets and navigate the complexities of intellectual property law with practical, business-focused guidance.

Jeoyuh is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the District of Columbia Bar, and the State Bar of New Jersey. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and regularly works with clients operating in global markets.
